NSI has declined the transfer of 3 domain names in good standing, expiring Feb 23/03. The public WHOIS on their site shows a creation date of Feb 2001... but I am wondering if it is possible that they have actually dropped and recreated them effectively giving them new creation dates of Feb 23/03 .. in which case, we are still within the 60 day no-transfer.
The client did renew them after expiry...after failed transfer attempts in Jan & again in Feb well before expiry, so they ended paying them an additional year). Is there any way to check the creation date according to the registry rather than registrar? Or will OpenSRS flat out reject the request if not yet 60 days? Jo Shea
