Ken, The IP that Verisign has is from the registry "glue" record (do a whois at whois.crsnic.net, or check out the value in manage.opensrs.net
In order to ensure these aren't removed, ensure that the nameservers don't match the criteria listed at the web page within the announcement and there are domains using these nameservers.
