I have cable modem service at home, and I was debating on trying to run my personal website off of my own computer. I don't think that would be abusing my service. I mean, what do I do online all the time anyway? I surf, download files/progs, and I'm very active in file-sharing. I can't see my website generating much more bandwidth than that, and if it does I expect I'll be capped at some point or charged for the excessive use. As long as I use the computer itself for personal reasons I don't see the problem, legally or morally.
