Hmmm, the old topic again...

My company - actually being the oldest gTLD reseller in Hungary - has
started to receive a fastly increasing number of complaints recently
from people who registered their domains at NetSol. You know how
inresponsive NetSol support is, how they mix up things, demand faxes and
don't answer emails, or if they answer, that is usually even worse. Some
people we know already lost their domains because of some screw-up at
NSI. The most frequent problems we encountered are:
- expiration date shown in whois not maching real domain status -
domains expires "all of a sudden", someone else registeres it
- people paying for domains but cannot use them as their emails has
changed; NSI demands some faxing... they send in the fax and receive no
answer
Many people here do not speak English (the cause of which is due to some
revolution in '56 :-)), if they could call, it wouldn't help either.
Initiated transfers do not go through - by the time we can help these
guys the domain is expired or is on hold or gets sent to Mars in a
sealed box.

So... this NSI thing is just a "big suck" (Hungarian saying ;-)). We
will put up a warning message on our page about the problems associated
with NSI registered domains, and will put up some banners on some other
sites as well. A TV interview with the biggest regional TV-station is
also being arranged... we hope to shake up the public. We also encourage
anyone else also fed up with NSI and the way they (do not) do certain
things to start similar actions. Only if they were a Hungarian company
:-), they would be in trouble "up to the neck" (Hungarian saying
again...), sued by quite a few disappointed users. However, they are not
Hungarian - now let them try to deal with this and go to a Hungarian
court (muhahahaha - as Charles used to say) if the do not like what we
say about them :-)

Sorry for wasting your time but we are really-really fed up with this
situation now.

- Csongor
