Well, unless someone has copious free time on their hands, it doesn't look like any mating of our data with SRS will take place any time soon. Even though we've got a couple thousand .(com|net|org) domains that are misregistered[1] domains, [EMAIL PROTECTED] wants an individual e-mail message for each one, along with a description of "why you think a particular address or phone number might be wrong"... that means that even if it's patently obvious (1600 Pennsylvania Ave, DC.... 1060 W. Addison, Chicago, IL.... 212-555-1212, etc.), it would still require me to explain it in monosyllabic terms to the compliance-monkeys.
Since I run the database, I can say that anyone of average intelligence can read the "evidence" portion of 99.9% of the listings and figure out the problem all on his/her own, but apparently compliance@ needs hand-holding, hand-holding which I don't have the time to do (and shouldn't really have to). Personally, I think they're just frightened by the prospect of having to go through and verify several hundred domains. D [1] Unknown how many are actually Tucows' but a 10-15% number would probably be a good ballpark -- +---------------------+-----------------------------------------+ | [EMAIL PROTECTED] | "Thou art the ruins of the noblest man | | Derek J.
