Hi Lars, Do you have your own manage cgi that your customers use? If so, you can quite easily unlock the domain before any DNS change is done via your API, and then relock. We did this, and it basically took the PIA factor out of this. Clients are free to do all of the DNS management without interference, and still protected from Verison/RCOM/ENOM et al. Feedback from end users has been very positive that we took these measures, and very negative towards Verisign.
I would agree on your take on the level of registrations. We are seeing a steady increase, and noted a decent bump back in March. Let's hope this is a continuing trend:) Cheers, Doug.
