Mike - IPs do not show for nameservers that are not based on the domain you're using (i.e. NON-.us nameservers on a .us name). The registry cares not for IPs that don't belong to their domains - it just holds the name int he zone which is resolved at query time (and authoritative value is retrieved from the registry which sponsors the nameserver)
As for the error - that means your domain is locked, I thought that error message was fixed (I'll look into that).
