Tim, I do know (after some digging) that the .info registry had a lengthy outage today. Now, the outage WAS announced, but not to all pertinent parties at OpenSRS (I'm working on finding out where the miscommunication occured) - this could have allowed us to announce to the channel.
It's possible that the .info outage was causing the errors you were experiencing. Our staff looked into things (the operations department was aware of the .info outage, they assumed that I knew since I usually do!) and everything was working properly (and .info was down, but they expected it so deemed that "proper"). It might be a quirk of the SF code that was causing this (but I'm not sure). Let us know immediately if you experience other problems. Did anyone else have anything odd occur today between noon and 7 (EDT)?
