Please be real, that is not the case at all. No one would be ripped off.
More of a partial payment to get things even. Everyone has their views, and
I know one of our largest clients would much rather spend all the money at
once and have it over and have all the expiration dates at one date, not 500
like current.   From a domain coordinator point of view this would make
their lives much easier. I am talking about customers with 400+ domains.

    And with all the bad publicity with Verisign deleting domains etc or
changing renewal dates, this would be added security to the registrant
knowing the EXACT DAY and year their domains would be dropped. Much easier
to watch for any funny stuff etc....
