Consider that the registry provides up to 45 days after a domain's expiry
before you can NOT get a refund on the "auto-renewal" (domains automatically
renew at expiry, anything else that happens is registrar business rules).

If a domain still isn't available at 47 days then there's an "afternic" type
things happening, or they can't delete the domain (has latent nameservers,
yada yada), or what not :)
