There isn't any required hold time after expiration.

At one time BulkRegister was dropping the domains the day after they
expired.   They now hold them longer but my understanding is that they drop
them on a random basis.

enon.com drops domains on a random basis after expiration.   I have seen
them dropped in as little as 2 days with enom, I know of one domain that has
been on hold for 35 days with them.
