That will ALWAYS be an issue, since if you first register the domain, then charge the card, the card may be bad, so if it's the alternative, then the customer loses, either way, someone loses. So, we what do is charge the card, if it then fails, we have the "Auth" number from the credit card be a "Credit" number, it will then qualify for that much of discount on another purchase. It is only good one time, and the name, address, and zip code must all match for it to be used.
It's not to hard to do.
