Keep in mind that when we contacted the registry and asked if this was a
"limited time offer" and would they go back to two year registrations,
they said that, yes, they did plan to go back to minimum two year
registrations (and then hedged it with some unless clauses)

We don't sell enough .us domains to make the hassles of configuring and
"unconfiguring" the system for the one registrations get to the top of the
priority heap.
