I'm sure that eNom and GoDaddy will appreciate not having the
competition.  

You can probably go ahead and stop offering .US domains if it's too much
of a hassle to keep up with changes at the Registry. With this position,
I suspect that profit from the sale of .US domains will remain allusive.
