re: Transsfers From Netsol Steve,
>From my experience these failings that you write about regarding Netsol's systems go back at least 6 years such I feel that I can say (except for a few short periods where it actually seemed to work) without any contradiction that for the most part Network Solutions/Verisign's Domain Updating and transfer confirmation systems were never reliable. Their authentication track record is so atrocious that it has become amusing. For a company that talks about security as much as Verisign does, have never come to grips with being able to provide any real or sensible security solution regarding the whole domain transfer and modification realm. This evaluation runs concurrent with a thought I have that Verisign are a company that never had any ground floor appreciation for the business of domain registrar they are in. Sincerely, Ken Kaprielian ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Email is SLOW, not secure, unreliable, and can be intercepted. Yet THAT is what they wanted me to use! I was gratified to see that opensrs had a far better way of doing this. SSL is FAST, a LOT more secure, reliable, and can't be intercepted so easily. And THAT is what nearly everyone else uses.
