Network solutions has never been very serious about this sort of thing.
When *I* tried this, I found that I was at other peoples mercy. People
that couldn't be trusted! My first Domain was registered using an Email
address assigned to me by a company that "sold" its assets, and then skipped
town.
Network solutions KNEW they had the wrong email address, etc... I had to
go through a lot of hoops, and they lost paperwork, and sent other private
info to these people that could have EASILY acquired my domain, and that
I didn't trust!
Oh SURE, ****SUPPOSEDLY**** they changed things. They even said that I
COULD do it a far easier way. When I said "GREAT, what is it?", they said
"Oops, you CAN'T do it that way, as you registered before we had that in
place".
Email is SLOW, not secure, unreliable, and can be intercepted. Yet THAT
is what they wanted me to use!
I was gratified to see that opensrs had a far better way of doing this.
SSL is FAST, a LOT more secure, reliable, and can't be intercepted so easily.
And THAT is what nearly everyone else uses.

How long has it been taking lately for the customer to receive their transfer
away
confirmation? Registry request date is almost 36 hours ago. Should I be
worried?
Is there a way to resend?
This domain had a 'no.valid.email', but he changed that before we resubmitted,
at least it
shows changed in their public WHOIS. Will that still be a problem for us?
