I am a old Doster Customer and never bothered trying to stop their spam
after transferring all my domains over. This is a interesting service,
would other people be interested if OpenSRS had something like this?

Dear Dotster Customer,

Are you tired of getting SPAM e-mail? Dotster has just launched a new
service
to help called SPAM-Shield. To celebrate, we're offering it FREE on
all new
domain name registrations through October 16th! Plus, for existing
domain names,
it's only $2.95! That's a 50% savings off the normal price. To sign up
before
the promotion ends, visit http://web.dotster.com/spamshield/

Why do you need SPAM-Shield?
----------------------------
Did you know that every time you register a domain name your personal
information is made available to anyone who wants it? It's the law --
your registration
information has to be made available to the public through the WHOIS
database.

Unfortunately, this creates a gold mine for spammers and other people
up to no
good. Spammers mine data from the WHOIS database to find your e-mail
address
and then use it to send you SPAM. Or, they simply sell your information
to the
highest bidder. Either way, your inbox ends up flooded with junk.

Now you can do something about it with Dotster's new SPAM-Shield
service!

How does it work?
-----------------
With SPAM-Shield, we set up a safe and secure e-mail address for you and
display it in place of your real e-mail address in the WHOIS database.
Incoming
e-mails to the SPAM-Shield address are SPAM filtered and then delivered
to the
e-mail address you provide. Plus, for even more protection from WHOIS
database
miners, we automatically change your SPAM-Shield e-mail address every
ten days. The
result? No more domain-related SPAM in your inbox!

Stop domain-related SPAM from landing in your inbox! Stop data miners
from
selling your personal information!
Visit http://web.dotster.com/spamshield/ to learn more and sign up
today.

-----------------

We hope you enjoyed receiving this e-mail from Dotster. However, if you
would
prefer not to receive updates such as this in the future, please reply
to this
e-mail with the word Remove in the subject line. Thank you.
