i've recently had one of my clients' domains sold through a domain auction
site and we've now reached the stage where the domain transfer is to occur.

the auction site suggests putting it into a new OpenSRS account - but I
would assume this would cost another $250+ to setup!

I know I can change profiles and put it into its own profile, but what
happens to billing in those circumstances ? surely it is still in my
account, but just under another profile and therefore I am still responsible
for its renewal payment?

the FAQ was not much help answering this !

it's due for renewal in the middle of November, so its not in immediate
problem - but the sooner the transfer is completed, the sooner the client
will be paid !

i've dropped a line to Support on this, but I thought i'd ask the list too.

anyone been in a similar situation ? any advice gratefully received !

thanks

Brian
