In response to my enquiry sunday night about problems with the emailing
registrant username/password, I eventually received an explanation from
Andrew McCallum of OpenSRS support saying thus:

>We were migrating the mail system over the weekend to a new platform and

>today (Monday), though this has since been resolved.  Let us know if you

I've been finding the same latency with this mailing list since sunday
night, too.  Apparently it hasn't been resolved...
