The netsol always decline any xfer. If you call then, they said they have sent the email to your domain owner email address to confirm but no reply. So, they decline the xfer. But, they never send the email to domain owner.

Hi all, I have just spend 3 weeks trying (unsuccessfully so far) to have a domain transferred from Netsol to Tucows, in the meantime I have had to settle for a change of DNS to get the client up and running. I have been doing reg and transfers since Feb 2000 and I think this is the worst case of deliberate refusal that I have encountered, hence the title of this email :-) Here is the chain of events:-On 12th Nov I requested the transfer via the OpenSRS system which confirmed the request sent to the admin contact for the domain. Since I saw that this was someone in plus.net - the hosting company - I emailed this person to confirm the request and asked them to expedite. On 15th I was informed by Plus.net support that I they could only handle requests via their ticket system. The Transfer request was logged on their system 15th Nov. On 18th Nov I received email confirmation from them that said:- "Transfer authorised, will take upto 7 days as it is a transfer of registrar and not just a transfer of namesevers/contacts." I also received automated confirmation of acceptance from Tucows On Nov 24th I received the Transfer declined from Tucows Requesting Registrar: Tucows, Inc.. Current Registrar: Network Solutions, Inc.. OpenSRS Order #Id: 7971154. The current registrar for the bes-ireland.com domain name rejected the transfer request you submitted. Pursuant to established Verisign Registry procedures, the transfer is declined. On 25th Nov I re-submitted via OpenSRS and received the confirmation of acceptance from Tucows On Dec 1st I received the Transfer declined from Tucows Requesting Registrar: Tucows, Inc.. Current Registrar: Network Solutions, Inc.. OpenSRS Order #Id: 8092418. The current registrar for the bes-ireland.com domain name rejected the transfer request you submitted. Pursuant to established Verisign Registry procedures, the transfer is declined. During this time there was ongoing dialogue with Plus.net via their customer only ticket system, my client had provided me with his password so I was monitoring every day. I have this record if so required. On Nov 17th they said:- ".. Please provide us with the DNS of the new host and we will make the changes for you...." On Nov 29th they said:- ..." If we are transferring out then we will need the NIC handles of the new provider to be able to proceed...." On Nov 29th they said:- "... We have attempted to transfer this out twice - your gaining registrar will have to accept the inbound transfer - Please ensure they are aware that you are transferring the domain to their control...." I repeatedly asked for clarification on the Transfer process as they see it but this was not forthcoming. Everything is 100% in order here, the client is local, we are working on a website for him, he is happy to relocate and move to to Tucow/OpenSRS. I think that something needs to be done to stop this abuse of power by Verisign - different name same old s**t. Regards Des Donnelly
