This topic has been rehashed a number of times over the past year or so, and if memory serves me right, every time it comes up, a different reseller is saying the same thing as the last. That being, the current referral list system stinks, and is unfair to the resellers. So, are we all idiots? Or is the system truly unfair to the reseller body as a whole? Personally, I think it's is seriously flawed. To the point that it amazes me the company behind the list is Tucows. I have, and still do, believe in and respect the ethical business model Tucows uses with regard to the resellers at OpenSRS. But having heard a number of cries go out regarding this referral list in the past few months, and having watched nothing be done in response to those cries, I'm beginning to wonder if perhaps Tucows isn't slipping into the same trappings that their ethical business model is structured to go against. One of those being preferential treatment. I'm curious to see just how many of us believe the referral list is flawed, and should be restructured in such a way as to give ALL resellers an equal opportunity at success. I'll be the first to voice my opinion....
"Tucows, I feel your current reseller referral list is unfair, and should be restructured so that it lists all resellers, no matter how large or small, thus giving all resellers an equal opportunity to reap the benefits of the referral system."
