Hi Elliot, Thanks for the very kind words.

I think you're too harsh. Tucows/OpenSRS is a *lot* better than all the rest. Try to find a link to the NSI, Register.com, eNom, Dotster, or GoDaddy reseller mailing lists (hint: they don't exist, as far as I'm aware!). I'm sure they have some feedback mechanisms, but it's not as open and transparent as the Tucows/OpenSRS ones... What's puzzling about ICANN is how *close* they are to get things working. If you look at the constituencies, each of them seems to run well. The Registrars Constituency does a good job of representing registrars, as do the non-commercial, business, etc. At some point, I'd probably join the Business Constituency (or a small business "individual registrants" version), as they seem to have the same goals as I do. It's only that single step, from the constituencies to the Board level, where things mysteriously go wrong sometimes. The Board has some smart people on it, so it's very puzzling to me that they don't "get it" in those instances. It could just be that the Board has been "captured" by ICANN staff with a different agenda, and led astray sometimes.... Sincerely, George Kirikos http://www.kirikos.com/
