So I was using the Reseller Resource Center, and came upon this FAQ:

http://rrc.tucows.com/support/faq/dev_faq

Specifically this question and answer was interesting:

------
What client implementations are available for the OpenSRS system?

Tucows officially supports a Perl-based client. It includes a client library
and a set of CGIs. There is a new, more modular version (opensrs-sf) that is
in use by a signifficant number of resellers and will soon become the
official client release (http://sourceforge.net/projects/opensrs-sf/). Both
these releases use the same client API (the XCP protocol) but have different
source code structure.

Did I miss an announcement?
