The registrant is being very good humoured so far as something of this sort was not unexpected but he expected to be going through the correct UDRP channels.
It sounds like he probably shouldn't be so good humored and might want to consult with his legal counsel. I hear that John Berryhill is very good with this sort of thing if your client desires specific domain expertise.
