My customers have on occasion had to wait more than 24 hours for a CA order, completed at CIRA, be completed and manageable at OpenSRS. But ignoring that for the moment, didn't anyone think that forcing people to wait up to a full day before they can manage their domain would be a problem for some, and it's certainly less than ideal, and there has to be a better way to handle this? Such as putting a button in the RWI to check the domain at CIRA, similar to the button that checks for transfer completion, and giving us an API call so we can do this programmatically. This is pretty obvious stuff. This is a small but annoying deficiency that could have easily been addressed a long time ago, and certainly should have been addressed after the first time it was brought up on this list.
