Right here on this list (this one is dated December 2003): http://www.opensrs.org/archives/discuss-list/0312/0047.html http://www.opensrs.org/archives/discuss-list/0312/0048.html I would suggest following Ross' advice (from the second link above) and report it to the FTC. The more complaints they get, the more likely they will do something about it. While doing some quick searches, I noticed that the .US Registry has even issued a consumer alert about this particular scam: http://www.us/advisory.html With that said, this a a very old scam that has been run under various names over the past few years. Here are some I found in a few minutes of searching on Google: Domain Notification Center (Dec 18 2003) http://www.opensrs.org/archives/discuss-list/0312/0047.html Domain Support Group (Nov 13 2002) http://www.opensrs.org/archives/discuss-list/0211/0238.html Internet Support Group (Oct 14 2002) http://www.opensrs.org/archives/discuss-list/0210/0082.html Domain Support Group (June 6 2002) http://www.niner.net/docs/dsg.shtml
