4.3 billion addresses... how many are being squatted on due to assignment of huge swaths to major organizations... I used CTRL-F to search for "routing" and "complex" ... nothing in there about just how difficult routing IPv6 addresses will be... what a nightmare that will be... The average user has no idea how IP works... considering that the vast majority of home and commercial devices are behind some form of NAT I suspect that the initial transition is going to consist of enabling of NAT features on CTE devices like cable/DSL modems, routers, etc... the firewall device will understand IPv6, and provide the inside devices with private IPv4 addresses that they already understand.
