Coule possibly be. I ran hddtemp on my Ubuntu netbook it shows 34°C. And
the netbook has been running since Monday. I also show 34°C on my
desktop Fedora 14 system that does use LVM. I don't think that LVM is
necessarily the culprit. I still think that checking the laptop cooling
is probably one option can be checked. There was also some online issues
with the dv2000. It could be that you might just have a bad fan.
