In case it's helpful, this was in a message sent on April 25 by
Electric Embers <http://electricembers.coop> to the
administrators of lists that utilize their service (previously
they had for a while blocked yahoo users from posting):
"you'll be happy to hear that the problem we were having with
Yahoo senders has been addressed with a software patch.
"Therefore, we are no longer blocking emails from Yahoo to
Groups.
"You may notice a small difference in the From field on list
messages from these senders (and now from AOL senders too), in
which the sender's actual email address no longer appears,
replaced by the address of the list itself. This was the
technical step that was necessary to avoid conflict with Yahoo's
and AOL's new sender policy, but rest assured, replies are still
directed to the original sender via the addition of a new
Reply-To header."

LOL, as I said, this policy actually makes sense, and will be increasing in the
future. It's only a matter of time before google and everyone else do the same.

the mailing list by Yahoo users, but will flood the list with bounce messages, risking to
