I would be interested in seeing a suit of open software for each major OS.
My law school requires people to use Windows and many students have no
experience with open applications.  Getting them to switch wholesale to
linux is a tough sell hookking othem on some open software and transtioning
over time is a lot easier in my experince.

PS: we fought and won the right to dual boot with linux or OSX two years ago
although 75%of students still use Windows primarily with most of the rest
using Mac's.
