Access to source code is only a side-effect of free software. This is one reason why the name "Open Source" is misleading. As long as you can use and modify your computer without artificial restrictions, an "open" hardware spec isn't required for freedom. - - Rob. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.9 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Fedora - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iEYEARECAAYFAkjIGo8ACgkQCZbRMCZZBfZKqwCeODhvT1QeieBwHd1NJ4rlc8zt mywAnRri3xsdTkISKVpRbirrPTq82qa1 =BaMD -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ Discuss mailing list [email protected] http://freeculture.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/discuss
