Sure -- and anything else they want. But you do raise a good point, and that is how "on topic" this thread is -- is there a point where free culture shouldn't bother with free software, and, conversely, when free software shouldn't bother with free culture? Is it reasonable to say that free software users are mandated to release their work freely, in the same way in which you argue free culture advocates should use free software?
