Thanks for the reply, Dan. jQuery is the only javascript we're loading (because, frankly, I don't know enough javascript to use anything else!), plus the forms & thickbox plugins.
I reverted back to the old jquery-svn from the jQuery site (revision 88?) and it all works tickity-boo again. The AJAX-enabled forms are working as they should, and FF reports no errors :-) It's a mystery why it would work for you and not for me, but now I have it working again (even if it is with an old version) I'm not so worried. Chris, I confirm from personal experience that jQuery 1.0 and Thickbox 2.0 work fine together. If there are issues with it, then you may be overwriting jQuery with something else. I've seen it happen before, and fun and chaos can ensue. Check if there are any potential conflicts with other JS files (prototype, Scriptalicious, etc) first.
