Great start. I'm kind of confused as to why you use the $.c namespace.
It seems like that this is one instance where it would be a good idea
to use the 'Object' namespace, or similar. I guess it depends if you
were developing this to become an add-on for jQuery, specifically, or
just a generic add-on.
