Hellos, I have been looking around trying to figure out what a workable approach could be to hooking up jQuery to sound files. I would like to do something along the lines of this:
http://www.eastcree.org/en/lessons/spelling.html It's just a Flash app, but what I'm interested in is the ability to fire an event such as a click and hear a sound right away. So far I've found this: http://www.schillmania.com/projects/soundmanager2/ Which looks pretty good (cool demos). It seems like it would be easy enough to hook up to jQuery. As far as I've gathered in a bit of digging, compiling Flash files with the Adobe SDK is inevitable for something like this. Anyone have evidence to the contrary? Anyone had success activating sounds in a responsive way with jQuery? -pat _______________________________________________ jQuery mailing list [email protected] http://jquery.com/discuss/
