Sound ... mp3, midi, wav, aiff, au ... all work with most systems (mac pc , ie, ff, saf)
most work with the embed tag, and each uses a different and ever growing set of api's... I found the safest way to make sound was dynamically append a embed tag, and to replay it, just remove() it and then append() it again. Of course the code is on Junior's home page (my puppy) http://cigar.dynalias.org/junior/ I've done some mp3s and wavs and midis... they are all coded <a href="this.mp3> , but when you click it plays right there. Take a look and see if it works on your platform! (I'm FF2.0 & safari, have heard it on IE and FF PC) -- Ⓙⓐⓚⓔ - יעקב ʝǡǩȩ ᎫᎪᏦᎬ On 10/29/06, Blair McKenzie <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > del.icio.us powered mp3 player plugin > > jMP3 - Sean O's MP3 Player plugin > > > On 10/29/06, Patrick Hall <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > Hellos, > > > > I have been looking around trying to figure out what a workable > > approach could be to hooking up jQuery to sound files.
