Please don't take my comments for bashing of dislike. I've tried using tinyMCE before and it wasn't for me. So I'm not bashing...just commenting that it doesn't have what other CMS tools have built in.

But they do have 2 official plugins that handle managing images and any other files. They're called MCFileManager and MCImageManager respectively, and they're right on the home page. They have versions for PHP and .NET. Saying that TinyMCE "doesn't have" image upload is like saying jQuery doesn't have Accordion menus. Also, TinyMCE can be set to XHTML compliant mode and can prevent the use of any tag or attrib you don't want. I'm just sayin'... Not that I'm in love with TinyMCE or anything, but I used it in a project recently and was impressed. And I'm a little disappointed both by the lack of understanding of it here, as well as the FUD being spread about it. I think we DO need an editor of TinyMCE's caliber based on jQuery to speed CMS uptake (which I think it definitely would do). But let's not bash the good work of others just for fun. _______________________________________________ jQuery mailing list [email protected] http://jquery.com/discuss/ _______________________________________________ jQuery mailing list [email protected] http://jquery.com/discuss/
