You're library though seems to be very robust, I'm just concerned with the 3 (or is it 4) js scripts required for it to work.
I too am a fan of Particle Tree's unobtrusive style of form validation: http://particletree.com/features/a-guide-to-unobtrusive-javascript-validation/ I'm working on a project right now that may allow for me to work on a solution similar to the ones below using Jquery. Yup, know this is the Jquery mailing list but I really like the examples I've seen using prototype or mootools.
