Ok... I can handle that. But someone suggested I use Taconite to position error messages generated by Jorn's Validation plug-in.
Those messages get generated before my info even gets sent to my CF page, right? Rick PS - Let me tell you... it's one thing to try to wrestle jQuery and a single plug-in...much less jQuery plus multiple plug-ins! Aaaahhhh! :o) I've made progress, however. At least now I've figured out how to style the error messages. If I could just get the darn error message *above* the form fields! See http://bodaford.whitestonemedia.com and click on any of the photos on the front page to go to the "Featured Properties" page. Then click on the line that says "Click here to calculate mortgage payment." Take out the Principal amount and click the Calculate button and you'll see what I'm trying to accomplish... -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Rey Bango Sent: Thursday, March 08, 2007 8:18 PM To: jQuery Discussion. Subject: Re: [jQuery] How do I hook up the "Editable" plug-in to a MySQL DB? Rick, you don't hook the plugin up directly to a DB. You hook up your CF page to a DB.
