Also, Visual Regexp - http://laurent.riesterer.free.fr/regexp/
or, if you like the rest of it anyway, ActiveState's Komodo IDE comes 
with a very nice regexp tool too, called Rx.

Both of these have saved me at least a week of cursing, over the course 
of many years of perl scripting.
