ooh dear yes.

SMR <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shingled_magnetic_recording> should only
be used in specific applications where its strangeness is tolerable, with
SMR aware backup programs.
Note, some Linux FS can be tuned for SMR

In which case it's fine but ... only with the right tempo.
