Hi David,

Software Carpentry rules only say that you need to cover Bash, Version Control 
and one programming language. Cover the respective lessons in less than 16 
hours means that instructor rush a lot or
skipped many parts. As long as you teach the material and have a certificate 
instructor, you can call it a Software Carpentry workshop. Data Carpentry and 
Library Carpentry have similar rules.

You can do two consecutive weekends.

I don't like the idea for some reasons but I know that is the only option to 
accommodate some people. Let us know how the workshop went.
