Hi, Sue,

I'd like to volunteer too. Please keep me in the loop. I am in bioinformatics
major.

Also, there is a genomics data carpentry workshop available:
https://datacarpentry.org/lessons/#genomics-workshop

Should we consider taking some of the material as well, which might be more
relevant to students who are interested in biotechnology?

Best wishes,
Yuanxi

Hi,

Would you be interested in teaching Data Carpentry Ecology to teenagers from
the San Francisco Bay Area in late June? These secondary school students will
not be able to participate on-site in their biotechnology summer internships
due to COVID19, however, their biotech industry mentors will allow them to work
on remote projects. All students are under-represented in the sciences.

Please e-mail me at [email protected] if you would consider teaching Data
Carpentry Ecology to them in late June.

Yours,

Sue McClatchy
