* Themed Community Discussion w/ Tara Robertson, external EDI consultant 3pm

* Tara will be leading the call to discuss development of a new toolkit of
IDEAS (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility Strategies), with a
focus on inclusion, diversity, and equity. Here’s some of the topics that we
plan on including in the toolkit: Why is EDI important for The Carpentries? How
does it connect to our values? What does it mean for community building?
Curriculum development? Teaching and learning in workshops? Instructor
training? Infrastructure? What does this look like globally? What is different
in different regional contexts? During these sessions, we want to hear from the
community what wisdom you want to share and what topics would be helpful for
you.
