Joyent strives to provide quick relief via important security fixes as
well; both for software in the base SmartOS image, and in the binary
package sets we provide through pkgsrc.

We will have an upgraded NTP available in SmartOS soon. Additionally,
the NTP configuration we generate at boot is intentionally quite
conservative: all recent SmartOS platforms are, provided you use the
in-box configuration mechanism, not vulnerable to the recent batch of
issues reported by the NTP project anyway.

Cheers.
