With respect to security, ALL distros bust their humps to address these 
problems quickly.  We all work together when encountering a problem and cover 
each other as appropriate.

Just a few minutes ago, Joyent put back into illumos-gate some security fixes 
to mailx(1) that had been festering a while.  ALL distros cooperate on these 
issues, and we even have [email protected] for contacting us in case 
something if FUBAR.

There are many differentiators between distros, but attention to security is 
something we all have in common.
