A while back I'd obtained some Illumos logo art. I've modified it slightly,
put it in three sizes (126 pixels high, 63 pixels high, and 32 pixels high),
and in both light-background and dark-background version. The results are
here:

My motivation was to replace all of the "Powered by OpenSolaris" badges I
have on kebe.com. What I'd like from the community is:
1.) Feedback. Does it look okay? Would you like to see a website sporting
one of these?
2.) A permanent home for linking and downloading. For example, the
OpenSolaris badge that kebe.com sports today is pulled directly from
opensolaris.org. I'd like a similar illumos.org source. Obviously if
one clicks through one should visit www.illumos.org, which is what I'll
have kebe.com visitors do.
3.) Understanding that this is merely a start. I hope and even expect others
to come up with cooler badges. I'm sure some of you would like to see
distro-specific ones as well, but I'll leave that in the hands of the
respective distros.
4.) Start using these, or others, to plug Illumos. When people see this,
they get curious. When they get curious, they learn. And we all want
people to learn about Illumos.
Please let me know what you think. Once the "permanent home" issue is
solved, I plan on whacking all of kebe.com's OpenSolaris badges to instead
use the Illumos ones (since kebe.com has been running Illumos for a while
now).
