Good point.
But I think that creating a new view will require a "disconnect-from-old-view"
and a "connect-to-new"
from the iscsi client.
As this view is mounted by a VMware server, holding vmdk of running systems,
this is not a very
good choice!
I would like to secure this iscsi mount to be available only to a specific ip
address (one vmware instance), but I forgot to do it before...
Isn't this a limit?
Gabriele.

Re: [discuss] iscsi view host-group modification
AFAIK, you can't modify existing view mapping. However, a LU can have multiple
views so you can create hg, add-view using that new hg, then remove the old
view mapping (specify ve-number).

Hi,
any way one can set a new host-group to an iscsi view after creation?
Looks like stmfadm commands let you set the group on view creation, but can't
find a way
to change it after.
