Jim Klimov found my problem : too many entries in grub menu.lst causing a
memory overflow on grub.
This is very new to me. How can we let the system warn that the menu.lst is
getting too big, potentially breaking boot?
I just booted from XStreamOS CD, imported rpool, removed 10 entries from
rpool/boot/grub/menu.lst, exported rpool, reboot from disk.
The system is back :)

[discuss] krtld failed to open, again...
Hi,
it's the second time I get this on the same dev system in few months.
First time boot was on SSD and I thought that was failing, so I reinstalled
boot on a SATA disk, leaving SSD there doing nothing for a while. This required
me to find and reinstall all dev packages needed to build and mantain xstream
distro.
This time again, I just remember shutting down the system last night, rebooting
today, finding the boot like the attach jpg.
Tried with this :

No way.
Always the krtld fail error.
I think I can reinstall again on SSD, that is not the problem..
I would like to know what's happening to avoid this again...
Maybe just installing often dev packages requiring new boot env often can crash
the boot archive???
Any idea? Maybe just some way to fix the boot before reinstalling again may be
lighter...
:(
Thanks
Gabriele
