Short-term:  beadm list -H| wc -l   and report a number over a threshhold.  We 
don't enforce or warn in our tools, but our release notes mention 30.

Long-term:  Kill grub and switch to the FreeBSD loader that Toomas Soome is 
working on. You, Gabriele, can probably help with review cycles, and if you're 
feeling brave, maybe even make XStreamOS the first distro to make that switch.
